I've been thinking for some time about destiny / fate. well i believe that destiny is in our hands and it's about the decisions we make based or guided by our experiences in life...

I believe that we destiny in our hands and that our life is influenced by the choices we take, but there is times wer fate drive us by our choices to a big roads in a majical way ,,, fate just see our way of choices and put our choices in our way like putting a candy infront of a baby, but we always hav the choice but the trick is in our choices,,,,,,,
  or wat do u call the coincidence of finding ur choice or ur need in the most weird place and time wer all seem to be perfect,,,  luck or fate ??? i think its beyond the limits of luck sometimes

but due to my poor english   i still  dont know what the difference between fate and destiny i thought they are the same (SYNONYM) .

well about what i would think about this matter, it seems logical the way ICON has put it , some of destiny is in our hands and our hands r tied a bit to our experince , and also there is allways the global anarchy if u shal ask me , bright me would say alot of what happens is pure accedental ..since alot is just left for chance too . now about fate and destiny , im not sure of diffirence but fate seems to the end we r lead to by destiny perhaps ,,, im not sure what do u think

i'm pretty sure , you know what does fate and destiny mean in arabic but i will put the meaning of both words.
Fate means , kesmat (will of god) , nasseb, maktoob
destiny means al kada2 wal kadar , maseer , naseeb

So i think they are almost the same thing, seem to be synonyms but to a certain point...
they say that fate is the way leading to destiny, ,, however , one thing is for sure that if we work hard, we are quiet likely to get what we want , but if we are waiting for fate to give us something, we may miss the opportunity , cause God gave us free will, 3atana 3a2el nfakker fi and the ability to make decisions for ourselves and which road we travel 3atana 3a2el ne2dar nmayyez w n7allel l te7lil byejeh by experience w knowledge, and i think that everything depends on our determination . On the other hand, there are certain things are supposed to happen in our lives and the rest of our life is for us to choose what we want.
